wild wanders
root your soul and soles in the wonder of Earth, awaken and (re)wild your senses, and experience the natural world through the Whole of who you are

what are wild wanders?

Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku (forest-bath), Wild Wanders (also known as Forest Therapy Walks) follow a Standard Sequence that gently brings participants out of their heads and back into their bodies. Through a series of guided sensory invitations, you will practice slowing down, attuning to your senses, and cultivating relationships with yourself, others, and the More-than-Human world all within the nurturing embrace of nature. Wild Wanders are research-based and have been shown to decrease stress and blood pressure, increase creativity and focus, speed up recovery from injury, and improve your immune system.
A complete list of Wild Wander offerings can be found below. Sliding scale fees are available to make these offerings accessible to everyone. If you would like to pursue this option, please contact emily at emily@inwildwonder.com.

The land is the real teacher. All we need as students is mindfulness.
Paying attention is a form of reciprocity with the living world, receiving the gifts with open eyes and open heart.
